Responsibilities:
- Review and comment on topside 3D models, engineering drawings, and material handling plans prepared by subcontractors.
- Ensure the use of the latest approved technical information and follow up on open comments.
- Verify the proper implementation of agreed solutions on closed comments.
- Coordinate with Package Responsible Engineers (PREs) to ensure the Master Equipment List and Weight Control Report are accurately populated.
- Compile material take-offs (MTO) for topside equipment, fasteners, and insulation for procurement.
- Understand and support Information Management (IM) requirements applicable to the discipline.
- Coordinate with the team on engineering database development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the marine, offshore, or renewable energy sectors.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools: AutoCAD, AVEVA PDMS, Cadmatic 3D, Navisworks, SP3D, etc.
- Background in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer is a strong advantage.
