General Job Description

• Role: Supervise and coordinate construction projects from design to completion.
• Scope: Residential, commercial, and large-scale infrastructure (bridges, airports, tunnels, highways, wastewater plants).
• Focus: Safety, efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Design
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and contractors.
• Execution & Supervision
• Oversee construction activities on-site.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
• Resource Management
• Manage project schedules, manpower, and materials.
• Perform cost estimations and budget control.
• Quality Assurance
• Inspect work progress and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure structures are structurally sound and environmentally compliant.
• Reporting
• Prepare progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders.

Skills &Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Structural analysis, project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license may be required depending on jurisdiction.
