MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical Design
• Develop and review mechanical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Perform calculations for load, ventilation, and energy efficiency.
• Select equipment such as chillers, pumps, and ducting systems.
• Project Coordination
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and electrical teams.
• Integrate mechanical systems into overall construction plans.
• Ensure project milestones and quality standards are achieved.
• Installation & Supervision
• Oversee installation of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Testing & Commissioning
• Perform system testing to verify performance and safety.
• Ensure proper commissioning before handover to clients.
• Compliance & Safety
• Adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Implement safety procedures during installation and maintenance.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during construction or operation.
• Provide ongoing support for system upgrades and repairs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 3-8 years in construction or building services.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent preferred.
• Technical Skills: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HVAC design software.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical ability, communication, and teamwork.
