Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical engineering projects from design through commissioning, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Review project requirements, contractor specifications, and drawings with the project team
• Develop execution plans, allocate resources, and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Serve as the on-site engineering liaison, ensuring coordination between contractors and internal teams, including site safety and permit matters
• Troubleshoot technical issues during construction in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and other discipline engineers to ensure smooth project interfaces
• Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project specifications and standards
• Evaluate variation orders and provide resolution recommendations
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct site and vendor visits to monitor progress and address issues
• Prepare and review technical reports, budgets, and related project documents
• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
• Foster effective communication and collaboration across all parties involved
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related
• Min 3 years in project handling
