Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise mechanical contractors to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality plant maintenance, modification, and construction works.
- Work closely with plant operations and cross-functional maintenance teams to execute maintenance activities without compromising safety or plant integrity.
- Conduct mechanical studies and implement modifications aligned with technical and business requirements.
- Perform technical investigations on equipment issues, analyse findings, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors to elevate technical skills and competency.
- Attend to plant emergencies and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
- Support the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and SS651 management systems.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma (Supervisor Level) or Degree (Engineer Level) in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sector.
- Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing rotating and static equipment- pumps, compressors, blowers, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and more.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office basic SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical ability, problem-solving mindset, and effective communication skills with both internal teams and contractors.
- A collaborative attitude with strong teamwork spirit.
