Mechanical Engineer

• Mon – Fri | 8.30am- 6pm 
• Location: Walking distance from Commonwealth  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Managed the entire mechanical design process, from initial concept and development to testing and final commissioning.
• Created and tested prototypes quickly, ensuring products meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.
• Developed design plans and specifications for new products, while overseeing both in-house and outsourced design work.
• Improved existing products and worked closely with manufacturing and service teams to provide technical support and solutions.
• Maintained accurate documentation and ensured all designs complied with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Preferably 3 years in analog/digital circuit design and embedded systems.
• Experience with lab instruments, tooling, die-casting, extrusion, injection moulding, and metal stamping is an advantage.
• Proficient in SolidWorks (2D/3D) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge in LED, automation, thermal, and optical design is a plus.
