Mechanical Engineer

. Responsibilities include:

• Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
• Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
• Produce outline designs
• Conduct experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs
• Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
• Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety
• Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
• Estimate budget and scope of project
• Solicit observations from operators
• Prepare product reports and documentation
• Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods

Qualifications:

. Accredited degree in Architectural Engineering (BSAE or MAE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME).

. Professional engineering licensure is preferred, but not required.

. Mechanical engineering experience in the building industry 2 to 5 years of experience at least preferred.

. Understanding of building HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire suppression systems, and a

desire to continue learning.

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills.

. Proficient use in the use of Revit MEP, load calculation programs (Trace 700 or similar),

and Microsoft Excel with knowledge of engineering modeling programs is not required, but is a plus.

. LEED AP and/or WELL AP status is not required, but is a plus.
