Responsibilities:
- Lead and assign technicians for repair and maintenance projects.
- Carry out dismantling, repair, replacement, and reassembly of mechanical parts.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues and recommend repair solutions based on manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct daily toolbox meetings and risk assessments to ensure safe work practices.
- Ensure repair, maintenance, and overhaul jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain high service standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations for new enquiries and manage job costs within budget.
- Prepare service reports after project completion.
- Plan job methods and work schedules.
- Oversee the full job process, from permit preparation to work completion submission.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of ship repair experience in Singapore.
- Willing to work on-site, on-board vessels, and in the workshop, with occasional irregular hours.
