Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and equipment using CAD software. Manage engineering projects from concept to completion while ensuring safety, efficiency, and timely delivery. Collaborate with teams and maintain technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems, machines, tools, and equipment to meet project specifications and performance goals
- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and development
- Develop new products and enhance existing mechanical systems to improve functionality and reliability
- Test mechanical components and systems to verify efficiency, safety, and operational reliability
- Analyze machine performance data to identify issues and implement effective engineering solutions
- Plan and manage engineering projects, coordinating with technicians, contractors, and engineers to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion
- Inspect mechanical equipment and systems regularly to diagnose faults and recommend repairs or improvements
- Ensure all machinery operates safely and meets regulatory and company standards
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports, drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project goals and resolve technical challenges
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
