Mechanical Engineer

Job Description :

• Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing mechanical installation works for PUB infrastructure projects.

• Coordinate installation of pumps, valves, piping systems and mechanical equipment at pumping stations.

• Review drawings, method statements and technical submissions.

• Supervise subcontractors and ensure works comply with project specifications and drawings.

• Monitor site progress and prepare reports for project meetings.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients and internal departments.

• Ensure works are carried out according to safety and quality requirements.

• Support testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical systems.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Familiar with mechanical works in infrastructure or water-related projects.
• Preferably with experience in PUB infrastructure projects such as pumping stations, water treatment plants, or sewerage systems.
• Able to coordinate multiple contractors and site activities.
• Good communication and problem-solving ability.
• Candidate is required to visit site as & when needed
