Mechanical Engineer

Job description

• Plan, manage, and supervise mechanical works on site

• Manage project execution including scope, schedule, manpower, and coordination of works

• Study drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure technical and contractual compliance

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams on work sequencing and shutdown planning

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical equipment

• Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements

• Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and work permits

• Monitor project progress, manage site issues, and report status to management

• Prepare as-built drawings, test reports, progress claims, and completion documentation

• Carry out any other project, engineering, or coordination duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in mechanical installation and project execution

• Experience working on PUB projects preferred
