MECHANICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a highlymotivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team inSingapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical/M&Eproject coordination, site supervision and technical support and may berequired to manage multiple projects and project sites according tobusiness requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical and M&E works at project sites.
• Coordinate daily site activities with project managers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Monitor project progress, quality and work schedules.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, site documentation and other project records.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and resources for project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and instructions to site supervisors and workers.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling and site coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety and health requirements.
• Attend project and site meetings as required.
• Work on multiple projects and travel between different project sites in Singapore when required.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties assigned by management.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The successful candidate must:

• Be willing to work according to shifting duties and project requirements.
• Be willing to work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays when required.
• Be willing to work overtime or extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Be prepared to travel between different project sites in Singapore.
• Be able to work under pressure and meet tight project schedules.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering, M&E construction, site supervision or project experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Must be confident and willing to drive to different project sites in Singapore when required.
• Experience in M&E construction, mechanical works, site supervision and project coordination is preferred.
• Good knowledge of project planning, site coordination and project documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Relevant Singapore safety certifications such as Building Construction Safety Supervisor and Work-at-Height certification will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Adaptable, hardworking, responsible and willing to learn new concepts and techniques.

Candidate Experience

The candidate should havesubstantial experience in Singapore in M&E construction, sitesupervision, project coordination, project documentation, client/contractorliaison and manpower coordination.

The candidate described hasapproximately 13 years 9 months of total professional experience,including significant Singapore-based experience.
