Mechanical Engineer
5 days, 8.30am- 6pm
Salary: $3,000 - $4,200
Location: Penjuru Lane, Singapore 609189 (Jurong East)
Responsibilities:
- Handles all mechanical related lab setup for in-house FAT of systems, including coupling and gearbox selection.
- Hands on troubleshooting and resolution of system issues during all stages of project (development, setup, FAT, SAT, warranty).
- Responsible for any mechanical system design stages of development.
- Generate mechanical drawings for effective communication with suppliers.
- Create systems and process flows for all relevant work to standardize work and reduce cycle times.
- Create and manage all relevant documentation.
- Any other responsibility as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year hands on experience with vessel mechanical and engine systems.
- Experience with engineering design software. Direct hands-on experience with SOLIDWORKS is a plus.
- Familiarity with maritime HM&E systems and naval construction processes.
