- Follow-up design, construction, commissioning and mechanical completion related to Mechanical packages in the group
- Plan and execute special tasks and operations within the discipline in offshore operations.
- Manage all Technical and Commercial aspects of assigned mechanical /multidiscipline packages
- Responsible for Mechanical design including:
o Develop and contribute with input to philosophies and design specifications
o Evaluation of equipment and components forming part of mechanical packages
o Ensure the design meets regulatory, class, client and corporate requirements
o Perform pre- and detail engineering for mechanical equipment/packages
o Develop material take-off (MTO)
o Manage master equipment list locally or globally in assigned project
o Perform and/or contribute in BWO FPSO Unit surveys as required
o Hydraulic system design for mechanical packages
- Coordinate, plan and schedule multidiscipline mechanical activities to ensure a logical sequence and timely preparations in tender/feed & project phases
- Review of relevant vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Technical input to RFQ's for equipment procurement and coordination towards supply chain
- Proactively support and cooperate with all engineering disciplines to achieve optimal design results, including relevant input and comments to other discipline deliveries
- Review and approve deliverables from suppliers and contractors
- Liaise with class, regulator and client for the submission/close out of documents
- Contribute in all phases of Projects from concept development, tender, bids, FEEDs, construction, commissioning, execution, modification to completion
- Supervise mechanical completion and commissioning activities of relevant mechanical packages during construction, commissioning, and hook up of projects
