Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

Manage and supervise mechanical works at project sites, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely completion. Perform mechanical design, review technical drawings, assist inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise mechanical works at project sites to ensure quality and timely completion
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to meet schedule requirements
• Perform mechanical design on duct-related work to support project specifications
• Review engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare detailed project documentation, reports, and engineering records for project tracking
• Assist with material coordination, site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure operational readiness
• Enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards to maintain a safe work environment
• Execute any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting manager to support project needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Experience in construction or semiconductor industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and related engineering software
• Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills demonstrated through effective site issue resolution
• Proactive and analytical approach to resolving site issues
• Proficient in oral and written English
