About the Job
Responsible for planning and executing critical rotating equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Provides frontline engineering support to maintain equipment reliability and availability, while driving cost-effective solutions and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver all rotating equipment maintenance through contractors, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and supervise contractors on-site, maintaining strict compliance with HSE standards and site requirements.
- Assist in planning and budgeting for maintenance activities, including pitstops and shutdowns, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for HEMP equipment, ensuring compliance and prompt work order closure.
- Develop mitigation plans to reduce corrective maintenance backlog.
- Provide first-line troubleshooting and support root cause analysis for equipment failures.
- Prepare and review the annual mechanical maintenance budget.
- Ensure contractor competency and adherence to QA/QC standards for rotating equipment.
- Provide standby coverage and act as backup to the Maintenance Team Lead.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability practices.
- Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Willingness to work on-site at Jurong Island
