Carry out routine inspection and maintenance on company's construction equipment
Dismantles defective equipment and install new or repaired mechanical and electrical parts
Handles & follows up on equipment issues such as repair & maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment
Carrying out mechanical and electrical maintenance, repairing and servicing tasks
Supervise installation / renovation / replacement works on facilities and equipment which are carried out by vendors / contractors and ensures all works are carried out appropriately
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on M&E services & installation for the building, which includes but not limited to general handyman work in fitting, installation, electrical wiring, plumbing, painter, carpentry and etc.
Liaise & supervise the appointed contractors / Term Contractor for any maintenance, repairs and / or renovation works and to ensure standard of work is performed
Support foreman / manager in supervision of night site works, ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to when carrying out maintenance works
Co-ordinate job site activities to consistently meet timeline, customer / client job requirements, SOPs, and statutory regulations
Carry out any other duties or instructions assigned by the Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Preferably with atleast 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
Required to work hands-on and in Non-Aircon environment
Able to be on standby after office hours for any technical / electrical works default.
Possess basic knowledge of cable & wiring, AC/ DC drives & inverter motors
Good knowledge of common civil construction materials such as asphalt, reinforced concrete, steel etc. preferred
Candidates must have class 3 driving licence
Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings and sketches to calculate requirements
Basic knowledge on mechanical, electrical and building system, including using of hand and electrical tools
Must be able to read technical manuals and drawings
Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
Good communication, manual dexterity, analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work shifts, weekends and public holiday when necessary
Able to manage multiple projects within the scope of work and stay on task
Able to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
