Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Technician

Our client, a Marine Equipment company was founded in 1970. They are a one-stop marine trading company supplying a vast array of marine items to local and international demands. The company is now expanding and is looking for an aspiring M&E Technician to join their team.

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays, 9am - 6pm

Job Responsibilities:

You are to assist the Company's management in the scope of works and responsibilities listed, but not limited to,as below :

. As a technician, you are required to ensure that job agreement are signed before work done and job reports generated after work done so that P.O.s and invoices can be checked to make sure that there is no under or overcharges

. Assist and provide technical support in the Service Department-Electrical and Mechanical installations local as well as overseas

. To build/maintain good rapport/relationship with new or existing customers or do anything to tarnish the reputation of the company.

. Understanding customers needs and also responsible dealings with customers complaints

. Keeping related key persons informed or updated on whereabouts (local and overseas)

. Discuss with/update relevant colleagues on what's happening with the job that you are working on.

. Time management to complete all jobs and Reports and uploaded into system

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate / NTC 3 / NiTEC / Higher NiTEC in Engineering (Electrical / Industrial / Mechanical / Building and Facilities) or equivalent.
• Must be able to work alone when necessary (After Completion of Training)
• Hardworking, must be able to follow instructions and co-operate well with others.
• May need to travel overeseas

Remarks:

• Can look forward to AWS (13th Month Bonus)
• Variable Bonus: 1 to 1.5 months (Subject to company & individual performance)
• Job Location: Near to Aljunied Road
