Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Develop M&E system designs (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power distribution, etc.).
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
• Conduct feasibility studies
• Manage the implementation of M&E systems during construction.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensure materials and workmanship meet design specs and standards.and cost estimates.
• Supervise M&E works on-site to ensure proper installation.
• Perform inspections and testing of systems (e.g., electrical wiring, ventilation).
• Identify and resolve technical or coordination issues on-site.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and international standards.
• Review risk assessments and method statements.
• Implement safety procedures related to mechanical and electrical works.
• Oversee commissioning processes for M&E systems.
• Verify that systems operate as intended before handover.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults found during testing.
• Provide input into facility management and maintenance plans.
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving M&E issues in existing buildings.
• Recommend system upgrades or energy-efficient solutions.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports.
• Prepare as-built drawings and operation & maintenance manuals.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input.

Requirement:-

• Bachelor Degree in related fileds
• At least 3 years related experience
• Familiar with Design Software, project management tools and etc
