Job Summary
You will lead the coordination and supervision of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations while driving project planning, design, and cost control to deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze project specifications and resolve technical clarifications to ensure accurate execution
- Develop detailed method statements and identify drawing discrepancies to support project accuracy
- Plan project activities, manage material requisition, control costs, and document progress to meet project objectives
- Supervise M&E works and collaborate with client representatives, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues
- Coordinate with other trades to maintain seamless workflow and timely project delivery
- Enforce compliance of all M&E works with applicable standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations
- Participate actively in project meetings to communicate progress and address challenges
- Manage temporary M&E installations such as site offices, trial holes, and temporary power supplies to support project needs
- Execute additional duties as assigned by Management to support project success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination to effectively manage complex projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to produce and review technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Experience with condominium projects is advantageous
