We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated M&E Coordinator to drive our mechanical and electrical coordination workflows and contribute to our project success.
Key Responsibilities
1. M&E Design, Drawing Review &Combined Services
- Understand and review main contract and sub-contract requirements for M&E works.
- Review and align M&E design drawings to ensure strict compliance with project specifications, guidelines, Singapore Standards and authority requirements.
- Prepare combined services drawings and liaise closely with consultants, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensure all M&E works are carried out strictly according to approved specifications and drawings.
2. Sub-Contractor Management & Technical Coordination
- Manage M&E sub-contractors work progress, drawing submissions, material approvals, sample boards, and method statements.
- Study, coordinate, and supervise M&E works on-site with client representatives, consultants, and sub-contractors to resolve technical matters and construction clashes.
- Attend site meetings, technical discussions, and coordination sessions as and when required.
- Manage schedules and support testing and commissioning (T&C) activities to ensure smooth project delivery.
3. Compliance, Quality & Project Delivery
- Ensure M&E works perform on time, within budget, and fully comply with all necessary standards, codes of practice, LTA specifications, and safety regulations.
- Maintain statutory adherence across all project phases.
- Handle any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management or the Project Manager.
JobRequirements
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in M&E coordination, specifically major infrastructure/building projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of M&E systems, testing and commissioning (T&C), multi-disciplinary coordination, and authority requirements.
- Industry & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity Singapore Standards, safety regulations, and statutory compliance.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Soft Skills: Flexible, adaptable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment with strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
