Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define specifications for mechanical systems and sub-systems.
- Lead the design and selection of mechanical components, perform tolerance analysis, and develop motion systems.
- Oversee component evaluation, system-level integration, and transition to manufacturing and field deployment.
- Manage internal or external design partners in joint development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical design, particularly involving automated machines.
- Strong background in thermal simulation and analysis, including finite element modeling (FEA)
- Preferably from advanced equipment sectors such as semiconductors, though candidates from other high-precision industries are welcome.
- Skilled in 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks or similar platforms)
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in relevant mechanical engineering roles
- Solid understanding of mechanical fundamentals, including tolerance analysis and motion control systems
