About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will transform concepts into precision solutions from automation machinery to customised jigs and fixtures, enhancing production efficiency and product quality. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet both functional and innovative objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop schematic layouts and manufacturing drawings for automation systems, jigs, and fixtures using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure designs meet technical requirements and project goals.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance design effectiveness, product quality, and operational workflow.
Requirements
- Experience: Ideally 1 year in automation machinery or jig/fixture design entry-level candidates with strong portfolios will be considered (training provided).
- Education: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma / Degree in any engineering discipline.
- Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks strong communication and interpersonal skills proactive and collaborative mindset.
