Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a container-based parts storage system, including validation of base design against project requirements.

• Design internal storage layouts ensuring part protection and transport stability.

• Create 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.

• Act as design lead, coordinating project execution with internal teams to meet schedule and budget targets.

• Develop and optimize automotive/mechanical designs, including simulation, analysis, prototyping, and variant management.

• Support design reviews, ensure compliance with requirements, and maintain proper documentation.

• Provide technical support to manufacturing and resolve design issues during production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant engineering design experience.

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, BOM structures, and variant management.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks familiarity with simulation tools (FEA/CFD) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.
