Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Create and refine semiconductor components, tooling, and precision parts.
- Use CAD software to develop detailed 2D and 3D models.
- Ensure all designs meet functional and performance requirements.
- Prepare and review design documentation to ensure accuracy and clarity.
Project Execution
- Contribute to project planning, helping to define timelines and resource needs.
- Work on design projects from concept to completion while ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams across different functions, including manufacturing, procurement, and quality assurance.
Prototyping & Testing
- Develop prototypes and conduct tests to ensure designs meet performance expectations.
- Analyze test results and make improvements as needed.
- Document testing procedures and results for future reference.
Innovation & Improvement
- Keep up with the latest advancements in engineering and design.
- Identify ways to enhance existing designs and processes.
- Contribute to new ideas that improve efficiency, quality, and performance.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all designs align with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in design reviews and quality checks to maintain high standards.
- Address and resolve any design-related concerns efficiently.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain well-organized records of design specifications, test outcomes, and project updates.
- Ensure all documentation is easily accessible for future use.
Technical Support & Maintenance
- Assist with troubleshooting and making design improvements for existing products.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to resolve design-related challenges.
- Support the development of maintenance procedures and technical guides.
Learning & Development
- Participate in training and skill development opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Contribute to a team culture that values continuous learning and growth.
Requirements
- 3 years Experience in mechanical design, ideally in the semiconductor or precision engineering industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
