Enlitho Pte Ltd (Enlitho) is a deep-tech precision engineering company that specialises in Micro-Nano Engineering services, with a focus on the Biomedical, Optics, and Photonics industrial sectors. As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Enlitho, you will fulfill a crucial role in the development and integration of systems for manufacturing micro-nano devices.
Core Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and developing system specifications and requirements and performing engineering design calculations
- Analysis and preparation of detailed drawings for machine layout, components and sub-assemblies
- Drafting of necessary documentation detailing system design, test procedures, results, bill of materials, project planning, etc.
- Engaging with vendors for fabrication of parts and procurement of components and hardware relevant to the system
- Contribute to system testing, assembly, calibration and maintenance.
Background
The candidate should have a minimum of 2 year of experience (3 years for diploma holders) in mechanical or automated system design and a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a similarly relevant discipline.
Ideal Skillsets
The ideal candidate possesses the following skillsets:
- Proficiency and experience in 2D & 3D CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of structures and materials
- Experience and familiarity with machine control hardware such as motors, sensors, robots, motion and I/O controllers, as well as machine vision hardware such as cameras, lighting, lenses, etc.
- Strong background in the design and construction of mechanical systems, preferably in automated systems design
- Core IT literacy and proficiency with MS Office Applications
The following will be considered a bonus:
- Relevant experience with micro-fabrication, microfluidics or other similar micro-nano devices
- Relevant experience with semiconductor processes (lithography, etc.)
- Relevant experience with manufacturing and process line development
