Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Engineering and construction team to develop comprehensive commissioning plans and schedules
- Work closely with vendors, Engineering and construction team to plan and execute commissioning activities
- Identify and resolve issues encountered during commissioning activities promptly and effectively to minimize downtime and ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain records of commissioning activities, test results, and equipment performance data
- Participate in meetings with client and vendors
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Pre-requisites
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning of power plants. Candidates with lesser experience will be considered for a junior role.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems such as boilers, turbines, pumps, and compressors
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes, procedures, and best practices
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
