Position Overview

The Mechanical & Building Services Lead Engineer manages design coordination and provides site technical support for all mechanical and building services systems. This role ensures designs meet URS, GEP/GMP requirements, and comply with safety and environmental standards. It works closely with internal and external design teams, reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications. The engineer also supports procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure high-quality system delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate mechanical and building services design deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with URS, GEP/GMP, and regulatory codes.
• Support procurement activities and evaluate vendor submissions.
• Provide technical guidance during system installation and site activities.
• Conduct design assessments for constructability, maintainability, and quality.
• Support commissioning, testing, and system handover.
• Collaborate with architecture, structural, process, and controls teams.
• Resolve technical issues during construction.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in building services and mechanical design.
• Knowledge of GMP, building codes, and industrial system requirements.
• Experience supporting construction and commissioning.
• Strong design review and problem-solving capabilities.
