Job Description:
- We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Automation Engineer to propose and design machines, jigs, and fixtures for process automation in factories.
- The role involves conducting machine verification to ensure specifications are met and quality products are produced.
- The candidate will communicate and coordinate with vendors and project teams from concept design through to Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Responsibilities also include supporting the standardization of machine manuals related to maintenance and safety, assisting factories with new equipment, modifications, troubleshooting, and machine overhauls to achieve OEE goals.
- Additionally, the candidate will support and train local technicians in Batam within the department and factories.
Key Requirements
- 3 years experience in Factory Automation machine design and automation
- Experienced in Autodesk Inventor and Machine Vision
- Able to understand basic PLC and HMI
Skills and Competencies
- Able to work independently, self-driven, and analytical
- Effective Project Management skills and a good problem solver
- Able to travel to Batam and overseas when a project is assigned
- Added advantage if the candidate has semiconductor process experience
- Added advantage if able to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia to liaise with colleagues in Batam
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering
Budget: Up to $6,000 monthly
