About the role
As a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical and electrical systems for our construction projects across Singapore. This full-time position will see you working onsite, ensuring the seamless integration and efficient operation of all mechanical and electrical components throughout the construction process.
Resposiblity
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical infrastructure
- Liaise with consultant, clients and subcontractors on the progress of Electrical work and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- To liaise with consultant, clients on the design of shop drawing.
- Attend technical and coordination meetings.
- Handle and resolve technical and engineering problems.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of work
- Coordinate and liaise with consultant and client to ensure smooth completion of project.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to track project milestones and compliance
- Collaborate with the project management team to identify and resolve any design or construction challenges
- Ensure all work adheres to relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
Requirement
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience working as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing mechanical and electrical systems installations on construction sites and LTA projects.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools for project management, design, and documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements
- Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD
