Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and technically competent M & E Technicianto oversee the maintenance and operations of our training centre. The role will focus on ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems are well-maintained, compliant, and operating efficiently to support daily football and administrative activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day facilities operations of the training centre, ensuring all systems are fully functional and operationally ready
- Manage and maintain Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems including HVAC,electrical systems, lighting, water supply, plumbing and fire protection systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and responding promptly to system failures (e.g. power trips)
- Conduct regular inspections, identify defects, and carry out root cause analysis with effective corrective actions
- Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service vendors for maintenance and repair works are completed to required standards and specifications
- Verify that all materials and equipment used or replaced by contractors meet approved specifications
- Maintain and update defect reporting systems, maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, statutory requirements,and maintenance standards
- Support facility operations (matchday, training, and events) by ensuring readiness and operational reliability
- Carry out minor repair works including doors, flooring, and painting as required
- Work closely with the Facility Manager to implement improvements and enhance operational efficiency
- Provide support at the customer service counter when required
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of facilities and maintenance practices
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management or building maintenance
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems)
- Familiarity with Singapore regulatory requirements (e.g. WSH, BCA, SCDF standards) is an advantage
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to troubleshoot technical issues independently
- Willingness to work outside normal hours when required (e.g. emergency maintenance or events support)
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work closely with Facility Manager and stakeholders
- Basic computer literacy (e.g. Microsoft Excel, reporting systems, email communication)
