SGD 4,000 to 6,000 per month

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel generators, air compressors, and related heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities

. Perform routine servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel generators and air compressors
. Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify faults
. Carry out preventive maintenance according to company schedule
. Replace and repair engine components, filters, hoses, alternators, starters, and other mechanical parts
. Ensure all service records and checklists are completed accurately
. Provide on-site breakdown support when required
. Coordinate with service team and operations to plan machine downtime
. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
. Follow company safety standards and practices
. Assist in machine testing after repair before delivery

Requirements

. At least 2 to 3 years of experience in machinery repair, especially generators and compressors
. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical parts
. Ability to diagnose faults independently
. Able to read wiring diagrams and service manuals
. Physically fit and comfortable working in workshop or job site environment
. Good teamwork and communication skills
. Able to work overtime or on-site when required
. Possession of Class 3 licence is an advantage
. Candidates with experience in Denyo, Airman, Nippon Sharyo, SDMO, Caterpillar or similar brands will have added advantage
