Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance and service tasks in the workshop, conduct diagnostic checks, troubleshoot and repair automotive transmission, engine failures, and mechanical and electrical system malfunctions to maintain vehicle functionality.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and service tasks to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently
- Conduct diagnostic checks to identify automotive transmission and engine issues
- Troubleshoot and repair engine failures to restore vehicle performance
- Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions to maintain vehicle functionality
- Replace worn or damaged parts and components to ensure vehicle reliability
- Handle tire changes safely and efficiently
- Work independently with minimal supervision while proactively managing tasks
Required competencies and certifications
- Hands-on experience in the automotive industry
- Minimum 1 year of working experience as a workshop mechanic
