Mechanic Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities:

. Assist senior mechanics in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, including engine work, brake systems, air conditioning, suspension, and electrical systems.

. Conduct basic inspections and servicing (e.g. oil change, tyre rotation, battery replacement).

. Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and workshop equipment.

. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area according to workshop standards.

. Record and update service and repair logs accurately.

. Support in test-driving vehicles after service to ensure proper functioning.

. Perform other workshop-related duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive maintenance or repair.

. Basic technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.

. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

. Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment.

. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

. Relevant certification (ITE/WSQ/technical training) is an advantage.

Highlights:

. 5 and half day work week

. Location: Carros Centre (Kranji)

. Working Hours: 10.00am - 6.00pm for Monday - Friday and 10.00am - 3.00pm for Saturday

. Salary: S$1,800.00 - S$2,200.00 (depending on experience)
