The Recording Media Operation (RMO) MDW (Multi Disks Writer) Engineering team's primary mission is to develop and deliver test solutions that enable media and product qualification across yield, quality, and reliability metrics. The team also plays a critical role in launch media and product builds, MDW process development, customer-based failure analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions. The team is responsible for providing comprehensive software solutions, including machine firmware, graphical user interfaces (GUI), and failure analysis and monitoring tools to support mass production and product launch phases. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative engineering team while reporting directly to an Engineering Manager.
as a MDW Product & Process Qualification Intern, maintain and enhance internal engineering tools that support day-to-day operations and productivity. A key initiative is modernizing a legacy Windows desktop GUI originally built with Borland (end-of-life) into a maintainable, modern, cross-platform capable GUI using C++ and Qt. It is also encouraged to embed AIassisted capabilities that improve usability, diagnostics, and maintainability.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with manyemployeestaking mass transportation to work.
