About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and patient tutor to guide a lower primary child in math. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with young learners and can explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging way.
Schedule & Location
- Lesson Time: Every Sunday, 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
- Location: Queenstown, Singapore
Responsibilities
- Teach foundational concepts in an age-appropriate, hands-on manner
- Plan and prepare engaging lesson activities suited to the child's current level
- Create and plan lessons and worksheets in accordance to school math curriculum taught in Singapore
- Provide progress updates to the parent regularly
Requirements
- Strong academic results, specifically in Mathematics (minimally A Levels Math)
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) to communicate with child
- Prior experience tutoring young children, preferably in international or primary school curricular
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term consistency
- Patient, responsible, and comfortable teaching young children
- Warm, encouraging, and professional demeanor
- Able to travel to student's home
