Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons for Secondary 1-4 (E Math & A Math) students.
- Coach students using the M.A.T.H. Framework (Mindset, Analyse, Train, Hack).
- Monitor and assess student progress through weekly assignments, quizzes, and feedback.
- Create a positive, motivating classroom atmosphere that builds students confidence and growth mindset.
- Support centre activities such as holiday bootcamps, mock exams, and parent consultations.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new learning materials, worksheets, and digital resources.
- Participate in content creation (optional) - for tutors who love being on camera or explaining math concepts creatively.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or related field.
- Strong command of Secondary E Math and A Math syllabus (MOE-based).
- Experience teaching or tutoring secondary school students preferred.
- Enthusiastic about helping students overcome fear of math and achieve breakthroughs.
- Excellent communication skills - clear, patient, and inspiring.
- Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, Google Classroom, or AI-based feedback systems).
- Open-minded, adaptable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have)
- Prior teaching experience at tuition centres or schools.
- Familiar with TikTok, Canva, or educational content creation.
- Passionate about personal development and student motivation.
