Math Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

Brentvale College International is seeking a committed and experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver GCE O-Level and Cambridge International AS & A-Level Mathematics.

The role focuses on developing students conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination readiness within a structured academic framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with approved Schemes of Work and examination standards

• Teach O-Level and/or Cambridge AS & A-Level Mathematics, ensuring strong exam preparation

• Design and mark assessments, maintaining consistency with academic quality standards

• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support, including remedial and enrichment sessions

• Prepare students for high-stakes examinations with effective answering techniques

• Maintain accurate academic records in line with school and regulatory requirements

• Contribute to curriculum development and academic improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level

• Experience teaching GCE O-Level and/or Cambridge A-Level Mathematics preferred

• Strong subject mastery and ability to explain complex concepts clearly

• Experience working with international students is an advantage

• Proven track record in improving student outcomes in examinations

• Familiarity with Cambridge or GCE assessment frameworks

• Ability to teach Further Mathematics will be an advantage

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
