Role Description

This full-time, on-site Maternity Cover role is based in Singapore and involves delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 18 months to 6 years. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging and developmentally appropriate experiences, facilitating children's exploration and discovery, and maintaining a safe and inspiring learning environment. Collaboration with parents, teachers, and the larger school community is essential to foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere. The role also involves observing and documenting children's learning and developmental progress to support their growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education and familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approach
• Skills in planning and delivering creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities for young children
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with parents, colleagues, and the community
• Ability to observe, document, and assess children's development and learning outcomes
• Understanding of child safety and well-being, with a commitment to creating a nurturing environment
• Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Previous experience working with children aged 18 months to 6 years is an advantage
