R.A.K Materials Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to perform paint and coating testing in accordance with Singapore Standards (SS), including but not limited to SS7, SS345, and SS579.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing for paints, coatings, and sealers in accordance with SS7, SS345, SS579, and related standards
- Prepare test specimens, conduct physical and chemical tests, and record results accurately
- Interpret test data and assist in preparation of test reports
- Ensure testing is conducted in compliance with laboratory quality and safety procedures
- Maintain laboratory equipment and good housekeeping practices
- Support audits, method development, and technical inquiries where required
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant experience in paint, coating, or materials testing is preferred
- Familiarity with Singapore Standards (SS) and/or ISO test methods is an advantage
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
- Experience working in an accredited laboratory (e.g. ISO/IEC 17025) is an added advantage
