Material Science/ Chemical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Work in the laboratory to support R&D and production of PEM CCM (Catalyst Coated Membrane) for fuel cell applications.

• Conduct fuel cell and CCM testing, analyze data, and prepare technical reports.

• Support process development, optimization, and scale-up from lab to production.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, QA, suppliers) to deliver high-quality, reliable products.

• Assist in establishing and improving process control, SOPs, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with Chinese suppliers, including technical discussions, documentation, and follow-up actions.

• Prepare planning documents, presentations, and reports using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AI tools.

• Participate in customer support, technical discussions, and troubleshooting when required.

• Travel locally and overseas (SEA, Europe, China) for supplier visits, testing, or customer engagement as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Process Engineer, R&D Engineer, or related role.

• Background in chemical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or related discipline.

• Experience in fuel cell, CCM, membrane, coating process, or electrochemical systems is a strong advantage.

• Able to read and write Chinese to communicate with Chinese suppliers (mandatory).

• Proactive, aggressive, and results-driven mindset able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable using AI tools for planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Willing to travel and support overseas projects when required.
