Job description:
- Responsible for the provision of aircraft spares for aircraft induction
- Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements
- Responsible for liaising with Production, Customer, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Freight forwarders to monitor and priorities/ expedite all outstanding critical/ urgent aircraft materials required for the project
- Liaise with production/customer to for resolution of long lead-time material demands
- Ensure appropriate approval from customers / management prior to spares procurement and/or check customer's ERP system for stock availability
- Attend pre-induction meeting and identify spares that potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule / work stoppage/ disruption to production schedules
- Responsible for preparing material status/inventory and KPI reports for customer and production
- Perform review and analysis of frequently used materials for provisioning.
- Responsible for recommending MRP levels and optimising inventory levels
- Ad hoc material and operational improvement tasks as and when assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Basic knowledge of Data Analytics
- Knowledge and familiarity with SAP is an advantage
- Possess strong interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations
- Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency
