Material Management Executive - Your future position

As a Material Management Executive in the Taste & Wellbeing division, you will support the day-to-day material planning functions within Givaudan Supply Chain Management Team.

Working location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8

Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Customer & Affiliate order demand and commit based on material availability to meet service delivery.
  • Release Process Order and release PO Schedules with close collaboration in the detailed schedule review with Production Planner ensuring it meets all Orders deadline.
  • Manage daily raw material replenishment to support Customer orders and forecast, review and expedite raw material to support demand surges.
  • Mitigate and escalate issues related to orders, working with production, customer care and regional affiliates as required.
  • Liaise closely with Demand Planner and Customer care on Forecasting gaps so as to make Customer feel valued with timely order support.
  • Close collaboration and communication with stakeholders eg. Manufacturing, Quality and Distribution regarding fulfilment of expedites.
  • Proactively work with Quality and Procurement Team to proactively de-risk supply chain (Raw material / Packaging issues).
  • Navigate unexpected Supply Disruptions and keep Operations on track.
  • Balance cost-effective inventory levels with meeting Customer demand and ensure optimum inventory to meet Management Target at Month end and Year end.
  • Manage and execute Best practice eg. mitigate slow mover and Obsolete due to business loss/change.
  • Review, plan and execute phase in & phase out on raw material & formula change.
  • Responsible in Supply Chain Planning, with FG Planning and RM Planning scope and perform any ad-hoc assignments / Projects as part of Continuous Improvement initiative.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in logistics or supply chain management. (however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply!)
  • Detailed knowledge of logistics and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Teamwork, good interpersonal and problem solving skills with sense of urgency.
