Material/Mechanical Engineer (Thermal-Material Interaction)
In This Role, You Will
- Perform Multi-Physics Study on Laser-Thermal-Material Interaction effects.
- Develop Modelling and Simulation (M&S) models using software tools such as COMSOL.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate and refine M&S.
- Perform sensitivity analysis with varying Laser and Material parameters.
- Evaluate trade-offs in modelling approach and assumptions between simulation fidelity and computation speed.
- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate simulation findings.
Job Requirements
- PhD / Masters /Bachelor's Degree in Material Science / Mechanical Engineering / Physics or a related field.
- Passion for R&D and problem solving.
- Enjoys working as a team to plan and conduct experiments.
- Experience with M&S tools such as COMSOL and/or MATLAB is preferred.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
