Job Summary
To receive and issue raw materials to production, ensuring accurate inventory management and recording in the ERP/M3 system.
Responsibilities
- Receive physical raw materials and store them in designated production storage locations.
- Record incoming raw materials quantities and weights in the M3 system, verifying accuracy against physical counts.
- Release raw materials to production based on Manufacturing Order (MO) requests and FIFO system.
- Issue rubber compounds and billets to production according to MO specified weights and quantities.
- Record batch numbers of all released raw materials and follow work instruction procedures for issuing to production.
- Record returns of raw materials such as rubber compounds, billets, springs, and carbide inserts in M3 and sign off MO material record sheets to ensure proper flow.
- Maintain working area and material storeroom in compliance with 5S standards.
- Rotate and support finished goods section by receiving, storing incoming goods, packing, and preparing goods for delivery.
- Support monthly stock take and stock count activities in warehouse inventory.
- Follow CDI safe work procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.
- Operate lift truck and forklift with professional license for automatic order picking and material handling.
- Support ad hoc duties as assigned by Store and Assistant Supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate material flow.
- Work independently under minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and tight schedules.
- Apply meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and material handling.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
- Good knowledge of rubber and plastic production flow processes.
- Familiarity with types of raw materials such as rubber compounds and billets for visual acceptance.
- Positive working attitude and ability to work well in a team.
- Good attendance record.
- Ability to obtain multiskills to handle challenging work demands.
- Soft skills such as being outgoing, a quick learner, and meticulous.
