- Perform professional eye exams and refraction
- Recommend suitable lenses and frames
- Adjust and dispense eyewear according to prescribed specifications
- Maintain records and follow-up appointments
- Manage retail sales and inventory
- Support daily operations and cleanliness
Job Requirements:
- NITEC, Diploma in Opticianry
- Registered with OOB (pre-registered candidates welcome)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a community setting
Optometrist Responsibilities:
- Perform refraction for both children and adults
- Educate patients on eye care and train new contact lens users on proper handling and hygiene
- Recommend suitable lenses, coatings, and frames based on individual needs
- Fit and adjust spectacles for optimal vision and comfort
- Maintain accurate patient records and support daily store operations
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Optometry(or equivalent)
