Role Description

The Marketplace Growth Executive is responsible for driving seller acquisition, buyer engagement, and overall growth of online marketplace platforms. The role focuses on expanding marketplace supply and demand, improving platform performance, and increasing transaction volume and revenue.

Key responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new sellers, optimizing product listings, and supporting merchants in improving visibility and sales performance. The role involves executing growth campaigns, analyzing marketplace data, and identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates, traffic, and retention.

The Marketplace Growth Executive works closely with product, marketing, operations, customer success, and analytics teams to enhance marketplace efficiency and user experience. They are responsible for monitoring key performance indicators such as GMV (Gross Merchandise Value), active sellers, conversion rate, and customer engagement.

In addition, the role includes supporting promotional activities, improving seller performance standards, and assisting in marketplace expansion strategies across new categories or regions. The Marketplace Growth Executive plays a key role in scaling marketplace ecosystems and driving sustainable platform growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, Economics, or a related field
  • 1–6+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital marketing, or business development roles
  • Understanding of marketplace platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Shopify ecosystems)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales and marketplace performance data
  • Experience in seller onboarding, account management, or merchant support is an advantage
  • Familiarity with CRM or marketplace tools and dashboards
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing or performance campaigns is an advantage
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on growth and performance
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and data-driven environments
