Join our marketing team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where you'll create impactful campaigns that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. As a Marketing Specialist, you'll collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives across multiple channels, from digital campaigns to events and tradeshows. You'll help create engaging content, manage marketing projects, analyze campaign performance, and ensure brand consistency while supporting lead generation and revenue growth. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop your marketing expertise while contributing to meaningful scientific advancement across life science, healthcare, biopharma and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

1. Marketing Communication

  • Support internal marketing initiatives and communication activities.
  • Assist in drafting, editing, and distributing internal communication materials.
  • Manage PR-related matters, including liaising with agencies and preparing PR content as required.

2. Events Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events and marketing activations in Singapore.
  • Manage event operations including logistics, scheduling, and onsite support.
  • Ensure full brand compliance and alignment with legal guidelines for all event materials.
  • Coordinate creative development and production of event collateral (digital & print).
  • Handle budget planning, tracking, and reporting for event-related expenses.
  • Track, measure, and report event performance metrics.

3. Marketing Support & Operations

  • Manage payment processes including PR/PO requests, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Support vendor onboarding and ensure timely vendor creation in internal systems.
  • Maintain and update the corporate marketing expenses tracker.
  • Coordinate logistics for marketing activities, shipments, and material movement.
  • Support event logistics, including venue sourcing, catering arrangements, and setup coordination.
  • Manage corporate gift sourcing, procurement, and inventory tracking.
  • Coordinate printing needs for marketing collateral and ensure timely production.


REQUIREMENTS:
. Bachelor's Degree required no prior experience required
. Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
. Professional marketing certifications valued
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English additional language skills valued
. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
. Proven organizational and time management capabilities
. Experience with marketing operations software (e.g., Workfront) preferred
. Knowledge of brand guidelines and regulatory compliance
. Collaborative mindset with ability to work cross-functionally
. Strong problem-solving abilities
. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals
. Ability to adapt to changing priorities
