Responsibilities:
- Attain in depth knowledge of the properties and marketability of the Company's products entrusted to you and a detailed knowledge of competitors products, its strengths and weaknesses and its prices in the market. Catalogues and pricelists on competitors products are always to be gathered for the Company's library and will remain the exclusive property of the Company.
- Recognize, act upon and follow-up on business opportunities. You are expected to be resourceful to promote company's product to prospective clients, being able to identify product's unique selling points and provide the best solution.
- Conduct market surveys and to ensure a substantial market share for existing and new products, plan and carry out marketing exercises for our products in a systematic approach.
- Visualize, plan, submit and achieve monthly sales forecast as well as yearly sales target, hereby achieving our supplier's target for each Brand.
- Identify and furnish information on the various competitors activities, pricing and suggest ways and means of reducing the impact of the competition on the Company's sales, inform the management from time to time new products in the market that poses a threat to our business.
- Support the sales team from pre-sales discussion with customers, prepare quotations, negotiate orders, contract review to post-sales support.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in lighting industry.
- With strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently.
- Required to travel overseas occasionally for business trips to support business and operational needs of the role.
