Marketing Manager (Sub-Con Construction)--Permanent/Central

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is primarily responsible for market expansion and business development in the curtain wall and building facade engineering sector. This involves establishing and maintaining relationships with developers, general contractors, architects, and consultants to identify potential project opportunities and drive bidding and acquisition.

This role requires combining industry market information with the development of market expansion strategies. It also involves collaborating with the company's technical and engineering teams to complete bidding and business communications, enhancing the company's market competitiveness in the curtain wall engineering sector, and achieving the company's business growth goals.

Salary Range: S$8,000-10,000

Work Location: Jit Poh Building

Job Type: Full-time,Permanent

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-6pm

Key Responsibilities

• Market Development and Business Expansion

Responsible for market development of curtain wall and building facade engineering projects, identifying new project opportunities.

Tracking the dynamics of building projects in Singapore and the region, including government and private development projects.

Developing and implementing market expansion strategies to enhance the company's market influence in the construction industry.

Collecting and analyzing market information, industry trends, and competitor information.

• Client Relationship Management

Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with the following stakeholders:

Real Estate DevelopersMain ContractorsArchitectsFacade ConsultantsEngineering Consultants and Design Firms

Regularly visit clients to understand project needs and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

Maintain client relationships, improve client satisfaction, and foster long-term cooperation.

• Bidding and Project Acquisition

Tracking and screening suitable bidding opportunities for the company.

Coordinating the estimation, design, and engineering teams to prepare bid documents.

Participating in bidding meetings, technical clarifications, and business negotiations.

Assisting in driving projects through the entire process from opportunity identification to contract signing.

• Marketing and Brand Building

Responsible for preparing the company's marketing materials, such as company introductions, project case studies, and technical solutions.

Participating in industry exhibitions, business events, and client networking activities.

Assisting in enhancing the company's brand image and market awareness within the construction industry.

• Internal Coordination and Project Follow-up

Maintain effective communication with design, engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project progress.

Tracking potential projects and bidding progress, and establishing a project opportunity management database.

Reporting regularly to management on market dynamics and business development progress.

Job Requirements

• Education Background

Bachelor's degree or above, any major, with preference given to the following:

Civil EngineeringArchitectural EngineeringConstruction ManagementMarketing or Business Management

• Work Experience

5+ years of experience in market or business development within the construction industry.

Experience in curtain walls, building facades, aluminum alloys, glass, or construction contracting is preferred.

Familiar with the Singapore construction market and project bidding processes.

• Professional Skills

Familiar with construction project development and bidding processes.

Strong business negotiation and client relationship management skills.

Able to analyze market information and identify potential project opportunities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software.

• Personal Qualities

Possesses strong market sensitivity and business acumen.

Proactive and possesses strong execution skills.

Able to independently conduct market development work and achieve business goals.

Possesses excellent professional ethics and a strong sense of responsibility.
